VACA WEBSITE:
VACA has developed a new website to better assist members, Vermont citizens and our
communities by providing a list of Animal Control Professionals, their contact information
and what communities they serve. As a VACA member, we will list your contact
information on the website free of charge and you may refer communities’ members to this
site. We also respect the privacy of our members and honor their requests should you wish
not to participate in this service or ask that we screen information. Below, check the
information you wish to have released.

Membership is open to currently employed Vermont Animal Control Officers, Law Enforcement
Officers or Constables tasked w/ ACO duties, or other Vermont municipally appointed/designated
employees who are responsible for ACO duties. Annual membership fees are $40.00 yearly, starting
January 01, 2008 to December 31st 2008 and is payable to the address above. This fee entitles
members to training notifications provided by VACA, notifications on local or out of state training,
access through the web-site, which is pass word protected for members only, on job related forms that
you can use in the field, current updates on legislative and political issues that may affect you in your
daily duties and assistance with low cost pre-exposure rabies vaccines. Once you become a member of
VACA you will be eligible to be apart of a member only site that is accessible by signing on to;
www.vtaca@googlegroups.com enabling you to network with other ACO’s around the State of Vermont
or problem solve and ask for assistance pertaining to your town. There are numerous other advantages
